Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Full compliance with the provisions of the style book and code of ethics is a condition for publication of the article.
Articles can be submitted to the email epublica@fd.ul.pt
There are no fees for authors to publish their work.
After submission, the article will be subject to a “double blind peer review” system. This ensures impartial evaluation. Both reviewers and authors remain anonymous, mitigating potential biases and promoting fair assessment solely based on the quality of the submitted work. In due time, you will receive the result of the evaluation of the submitted article.
All published articles must include the author’s institutional affiliation and ORCID identifier.
According to the open access policy, articles are published under a CC BY 4.0 licence (Creative Commons https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). The articles are fully open-access. Authors retain copyright and may deposit any version of their work in a repository.
