Abstract

The following paper discusses the topic of sports clubs and federations’ civil liability for damages arising from the spectators conduct in the context of sports events. From an omissions’ standpoint, it strives to ascertain the assignment of civil liability to these entities for not avoiding those damages, under the Portuguese Civil Code and Law No. 39/2009.
