From the freedom of expression of sports agents, to the lack of it

This paper analyzes the freedom of expression of sports agents against the right to the good name and personal reputation, in the light of the Portuguese legal-constitutional order, the European Convention on Human Rights and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights. The regulatory and disciplinary powers of Sports Federations are also analyzed. The decision criteria of the European Court of Human Rights on freedom of expression are also indicated.
