Intervenções do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação promotoras do equilíbrio na pessoa idosa: Scoping Review

Introdução: O envelhecimento populacional é um dos maiores desafios em saúde pública. O equilíbrio é determinante para a autonomia da pessoa idosa, estando associado à prevenção de quedas. O objetivo deste estudo foi mapear a evidência científica sobre as intervenções do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação (EEER) promotoras do equilíbrio na pessoa idosa.
Metodologia: Foi realizada uma Scoping review com base nas orientações definidas pela Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), orientada pela questão de investigação: “Quais as intervenções do enfermeiro de reabilitação promotoras do equilíbrio na pessoa idosa?”. A pesquisa foi efetuada nas bases de dados PubMed, CINAHL complete, MEDLINE complete, MedicLatina, Nursing & Allied Health Collection: Comprehensive e Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials. Foram considerados todos os artigos publicados em português, inglês, espanhol e francês, no período compreendido entre 2020 e 2025, que incluiram pessoas idosas (≥65 anos) residentes na comunidade.
Resultados: Foram incluídos 23 estudos, que evidenciaram quatro categorias de intervenção promotoras do equilíbrio na pessoa idosa: exercícios musculoarticulares, sensoriomotores, cognitivo-motores e multicomponente. Estas estratégias mostraram melhorias significativas no equilíbrio, marcha, proprioceção e prevenção de quedas.
Conclusão: As intervenções do EEER promotoras do equilíbrio têm um impacto positivo na manutenção da funcionalidade e prevenção de quedas, na pessoa idosa. Programas multicomponente, que integrem treino muscular, sensorial e cognitivo, apresentam maior eficácia, na abordagem a esta problemática.
