This article examines the various housing vulnerabilities experienced by immigrants in Portugal, shedding light on issues such as overcrowding, informality, inadequate sanitation, racial discrimination and territorial segregation. Through a review of academic and grey literature, the study proposes a comprehensive typology of these vulnerabilities and shows how structural factors, such as insufficient public policies, housing market speculation, a lack of affordable housing and weak enforcement, intersect with socioeconomic and racial inequalities to produce persistent residential exclusion. The text discusses emblematic cases such as Odemira, Cova da Moura, and Talude Militar, demonstrating that inadequate housing has a negative impact on health, integration, and fundamental rights. Finally, the article presents policy recommendations centred on public housing, regulation, urban renewal and inclusive support programmes for immigrants
