Imprensa de/para imigrantes (os casos dos jornais Sabiá e Correio do Brasil)
Abstract
The press has had an important role in the immigrants’ integration in general and in the case we are now interested in, the Brazilians one. We will reflect on the role of newspapers like “Sabiá” and “Correio do Brasil” whose distinguished characteristics do not prevent them from achieving their aim while tools for building and not building individual and group identities. We will analyse them so as to get its complementarity among a wider audience.
