Práticas e representações sociais face aos ciganos. O caso de Oleiros, Vila Verde
Abstract
Analysing the conflicts between the Oleiros community and the gypsies ethnic minority, we aim to understand how thespeeches, the behaviours and the attitudes of various social actors involved in this process reflect some tensions in
the Oleiros social structure, which allow us to anticipate that the gypsies became a pretext to few created gaps and
to socio-economic and politic situations that surpass them.
