Abstract
During the last few decades' anthropology has broadened its study subjects and areas o work, beginning to be acknowledged as a professionof social relevance. Local councils, as promotors of social development, conduct actions, which tend to produce social impacts. In future well programmed local development projects should have the contribution of anthropologists.
