Abstract

This is one of the chapters of a study, which has since been completed, which was the result of an empirical research on the social condition, the urban environment and the quality of life of the Lisbon Metropolis. From this analytical trilogy, which guided the development of the research carried out, a central thematic of the research privileged the approach of the public space(s) of Lisbon, in which we was also inquired about the "urban green" of the this metropolis. We start, therefore, by pointing out the analytical framework of this specific approach, but we must consider that a more adequate explanation, even in the broader context of the overall research, does not spare going thought the concluded study. In any case, we tried to support the presentation of the empirical results of this line of research with the respective elements of analytical framework.
