By combining the sociocultural specificities of housing in Portuguese society, the economic dynamics of the housing market and the diversity of perspectives on the part of different groups and social actors, we propose to develop a study that could provide elements to support a structuring, rather than palliative, policy concerning the rental market subject to contracts prior to Dec.-Law 321-B / 90.
