Abstract

The text analyzes the relationship between identity building and the ongoing change in rural areas. The abandonment of the young people of a rural space- Cachopopelas is explained, with socializations increasing in the urban spaces. We conclude that the continuous contact with urban spaces leads to a multiplicity of identity references where the model of development that is recommended in these spaces is the one that most seduces young people at the level of their life projects.
