Abstract

The aim of this work was to study the effect of different active ingredients composed by triazoles on yield, yield components and growth rate of soybean plants in Guarapuava (PR). Six products (Ciproconazole (Alto100®), Difeconazole (Score®), Epoxiconazole (Rubric®), Metconazole (Caramba 90®), Propiconazole (Tilt®) and Tebuconazole (Folicur 200 EC®)) plus the control treatment were studied, culminating in seven treatments, with the design of randomized blocks with four replications. The variables studied were yield, thousand grain weight, number of branches per plant, insertion height of the first productive branch, final height of senescent plant, number of pods per plant and the height of the third trifoliate leaf fully expanded at the V4, V6, R1, R3 and R5 growth stages. Significant differences among treatments were detected, the best yields observed by applying propiconazole (Tilt®) and epoxiconazole (Rubric®), which provided, respectively, increments of 573 kg ha-1 and 564 kg ha-1 compared to the control. It was also found that the products under analisys influenced differentially the yield components and the growth rate of the culture.
