Abstract

This work aimed to investigate the ability of Trichoderma harzianum to promote the emergence and development of plants in the vegetative phase of Paspalum regnellii. For this study, the source of the biological agent trichoderma was used the ESALQ 1306 strain in increasing concentrations of viable conidia kg-1 of seed. The evaluations, divided into two trials, were conducted under greenhouse conditions. In the first stage the emergence of seedlings was evaluated until the 27th day after sowing, as well as the initial development of the plants through the evaluation of the aerial part and also the main root characteristics. In the second stage, the development of the plants was verified through the evaluation of morphogenesis and determination of the dry mass of the aerial part. The results showed that the development of the aerial part and the root system of P. regnellii were superior when the concentrations of 20.0 and 30.0x109 viable conidia of T. harzianum kg-1 of seed were used in comparison to the control treatment. Under the tested conditions, there was no influence of T. harzianum concentrations on the emergence of P. regnellii seedlings.
