Pedro Frazão Alpendre (Lisbon, July 2, 1962 – Lisbon, January 2, 2024) was a professor at the University of Évora Agriculture Department’s. His specialization was in Crop Fertilization. As this domain of Soil Sciences is very broad, he presented publications in the field of nitrogen, magnesium and dry-land Mediterranean crops such as pastures and forages, olive trees and vineyards.
His first work was on chestnut trees and his last collaboration would have been on a pine fertilization project (Go – Fertipinea). He was a member of SCAP and the objective of this work is to honor him.
