Análise Psicológica currently publishes two issues per year, each featuring a thematic section that explores a specific topic of interest within the field mixture with normal submissions.

Peer Review Process

Análise Psicológica is committed to double blind peer-review integrity and upholding the highest standards of review.

Once the manuscript has been assessed for suitability by the editor, it will then be anonymous peer reviewed by at least two independent, anonymous experts. If reviewers’ recommendations are contradictory, a third reviewer will be invited to provide an additional assessment and support the final decision. As part of the review process, reviewers recommend one of the following decisions: acceptance, major revisions, or rejection.

The Editor's section will make the final decision based on the recommendations of the reviewers.

Open Access Policy

Análise Psicológica is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Research Data Policy and Data Availability Statements

Análise Psicológica follows the APA’s research data policy. Sharing of all relevant research data is strongly encouraged and authors must add a Data Availability Statement to original research articles.

Authors are strongly encouraged to deposit their supporting data in a publicly available repository. Sharing your data in a repository promotes the integrity, discovery and reuse of your research, making it easier for the research community to build on and credit your work.

The data availability statement should indicate whether the data, methods used in the analysis, code, and materials used to conduct the research will be made available to any researcher for purposes of reproducing the results or replicating the procedure. In both the author note and at the end of the method section, either specify where that material will be available or note the ethical or legal reasons for not doing so.

Online First and Continuous Publication

Since December 2025, Análise Psicológica has adopted an online-first and continuous publication model. Accepted articles are published online as soon as they complete the editorial and editing process. After publication of the print version, articles may also be cited using the corresponding issue and page numbers.
