Notes on the population - migration figures compensate for ageing

Abstract

It is not very reasonable to understand the component of migratory movement as a solution mechanism in combating demographic ageing. Demonstrating this are the results of a simulation exercise developed by the United Nations for some regions of the world, a rationale that we also applied to Portugal.
