Abstract

The relationship between science and power is determinative, instrumental, temporal and historical. It may not be taken out of context. Knowledge is linked to power, the respective conditions of efficiency resulting from a mutual articulation. The societal transition known as «globalisation», associated with an increase in complexity, calls for the redefinition of the relationship between power, science and citizens.
