Abstract

The main aim of this study of publications about poor school results in Portugal is to produce a critical analysis which will help the scientific and professional community involved in education sciences to see what has been published on the subject and to ask themselves about their relationship with it, with theoretic works and with research and on the possible consequences of this work on education policy.
