Water as a legal, economic and social asset: the need to protect springs
Keywords:
water, springs, preservation, water polutionAbstract
Water, as a natural resource, needs to be used in an adequate way so that it is possible to have a balance between the availability of this resource and its demand, reducing the conflicts over its use. In this sense, the objective of this article is to analyze the water as a legal, economic and social good, highlighting the need to protect the sources. The method adopted was the hypothetico-deductive, seeking, from a premise, to conceive a logical reasoning resulting from the final considerations. This is a monographic, descriptive, bibliographical and documentary research. The results showed that, from a juridical, economic and social perspective, the water needs effective protection, especially the springs, given the possibility of its scarcity and the expected increase in consumption. It was concluded that it is necessary to preserve the springs in order to make a use of pure water, now and in the future.
