Abstract

This article is the result of a research whose fundamental objective was to analyze how different levels of quality of life are shaped by the type of correspondence between what the territory offers (objective conditions), the structure of the livelihoods, needs and expectations of the populations residents in rural and urban areas. It shows a methodological course that allowed the operationalization of the concept of quality of life based on the combination of two fundamental concepts: living conditions and ways of life. The proposed conceptual and analytical model is assumed as an instrument to support the municipal management of the territory, particularly in the field of planning.
