O impacto socioeconómico de um festival de música numa comunidade: O caso do Bons Sons na aldeia de Cem Soldos

Resumo

Os festivais de música têm, historicamente, celebrado a cultura regional e a comunidade (Duffy, 2000). Ao longo do tempo, os seus aspectos comerciais ofuscaram os objectivos comunitários, favorecendo as áreas urbanas em detrimento das rurais. No entanto, a ascensão do turismo nostálgico oferece esperança para a revitalização rural. Este trabalho analisa o Festival Bons Sons, avaliando os seus impactos culturais, sociais e económicos  na aldeia de Cem Soldos, onde tem lugar, através de entrevistas, inquéritos e análise de regressão. Os resultados indicam que o festival tem um impacto positivo na economia local, particularmente nos serviços de alojamento e alimentação, e promove projectos comunitários ao longo do ano.
