Introduction: Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in West Africa - Contexts, Challenges and Transformations in Senegal, Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde

This special issue looks at different aspects of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in West Africa. The research presented here was partly carried out as part of a project of the same name funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (Sexual and reproductive rights and cultural resistances based on gender in Western Africa: Inequality, violence and illegitimacy. PTDC/SOCANT/31675/2017 (2018-2021).
