Abstract

This special issue contains the proceedings presented at the 2nd International Symposium on Performance Sports / CIDESD, entitled "Performance enhanced by bridging the gap between Theory and Practice", held in Covilhã between 8 and 9 October 2011.

This event brought together professionals and students of sport and health sciences, covering the following areas: Sports Performance, Health and Professional and Pedagogical Intervention.
