Abstract

The emergence of a New International Order after the 80’s obliged to re-think the international organisation’s legality to intervene, namely that of the UN Security Council. Several examples of intervention of the Security Council led to consider the International Court of Law, through broadening of its own attributions and due to its impartial and independente nature, as the most adequate international body to exercise any form of control over the decisions of the UN Security Council.
