Abstract

Although the new geopolitics were unable to generate a new international law superstructure, we can already notice some changes. That is certainly the case for the sources of public international law, considering the pressures suffered by the classical system of sources. Municipal law taught us that often a branch of the law carries the burden of proving the suitability of a new source, transforming an audacious approach into a general trend. To give notice of the many changes on the sources of public international law we have chosen the international environmental law as an example of the coming and more general transformations.
