Studies on peace and peace culture

Abstract

Peace culture involves a change both in the way how “high culture” deals with reality and in the common sense approach to social relations, what breaks off with realistic common sense. The author enhances the importance of Peace Studies to the development of a new peace concept, as Johan Galtung developed, in the sense it is oriented to the promotion
of changes in the International System. Then, the author, concludes that peace is a moral and cultural category that can only be reached by quotidian behaviour.
