The authors present the case of an asymptomatic 5 year-old boy referred to Pediatric Cardiology Clinic for a cardiac murmur. Echocardiography revealed cor triatriatum sinister with a restrictive fenestration, and no signs of pulmonary hypertension. Due to the presence of intra atrial obstruction, the child was submitted to elective surgery, with a favourable outcome.
