Abstract

The ArqueoLoci project aims to spread archaeological tourism, based on the diversity of identified and valued sites, and to encourage debate and networking among facilitators. The aim is also to create routes that link the sites and encourage the integrated promotion of the archaeological legacy and the added value of the Portuguese territory. With a unique cultural richness, symbiosis between archaeological heritage and a unique landscape, Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, like other Portuguese regions, lack unifying archaeological routes or circuits that elevate Archeotourism as a driver of the appreciation of cultural heritage.
