Resumen

En España existen 43.564 servicios de oferta por tipo de discapacidad, considerando personas con discapacidad motriz, personas con discapacidad auditiva, personas con discapacidad visual, personas con dificultades de aprendizaje, personas con asma, alergias e intolerancias alimentarias, personas con larga duración, personas de estatura muy grande o muy pequeña y niños pequeños, y personas acompañadas de un animal de servicio (Red Europea de Turismo Accesible, 2015). El objetivo de este estudio es investigar los servicios de oferta turística accesible en España. La investigación adopta enfoques cualitativos con un modelo exploratorio para examinar los servicios de oferta turística accesible, además se realizó debido a su relevancia por utilizar datos primarios. En primer lugar, presenta la revisión de la literatura. En segundo lugar, se presentó el enfoque de este estudio con la selección de agencias de viajes en España. En tercer lugar, se diseñó un cuestionario para evidenciar una visión general de los proveedores por tipo de servicio. En cuarto lugar, se recogieron los datos mediante una encuesta piloto. En quinto lugar, se describió el análisis de los resultados mediante la técnica de análisis de contenido de 18 cuestionarios válidos para definir categorías con el fin de derivar patrones en el análisis y la presentación de la información. Tras recopilar la información, este estudio revela que la calidad de la información facilitada no es suficiente para los turistas con discapacidad. Entre los déficits más predominantes se encuentran la falta de detalles, de servicios especializados, de distribución de la información y de estrategias de comunicación. La investigación confirma que muchas personas con discapacidad no viajan porque las instalaciones y los servicios no se adaptan a sus necesidades.
