Abstract
This article analysis the value of using the triple constraint in the planning and execution of a Project. This approach is justified by the fact that it can be used as basis of any activity to be executed. The purpose of this study is to show the difference between consider the triple constraint or not in a project, in this case the construction of a prototype. This purpose will be achieved by comparing a prototype already developed without the use of triple constraint and the development of the same prototype if it were used. This study showed that using project management and mainly the triple constraint is good for any project, because it is truly possible to reduce the time and cost when you have a well-defined scope.
