ABSTRACT
Today, the temporary migration of students for purposes of obtaining professional training and degrees is the largest in history. It is expected that the number of foreign students within the universities continues increasing as a correlate to the process of internationalization of higher education. Therefore, it is necessary for the universities to evaluate the tools and resources they have to facilitate these situations. In particular, the UAI Medical School (Rosario campus) plans to enroll 80% of Brazilian students for the current year, which presents a new challenge for the entire academic community. In this framework, although the analysis of the recovered documents indicates a good adherence of the foreign students to some of the resources provided by the University, there remains a continuing need to strengthen some strategies tending to avoid the difficulties of the language, as well as to design bilateral politics and tools that could help the academic performance and subsequent professional development of these students.
