The main purpose of this study was the development of stress reduction and measurement point’s reduction through an intervention program for behavioral change involving physical activity based on competence training. The target in this work was a subject with 43 years of age with practice of physical activity one day per week. The subject was evaluated in two moments with a five-week interval through the following instruments: DASS-21, sub-scale of stress perception and scale of pain points (shoulders, knees, wrists, back, hips). Data were analyzed using central tendency measures (means) in SPSS 20.0 statistical software. The results demonstrate that there was a decrease in all points of pain as well as reduction in the perception of stress from the first to the second moment.
