Abstract

On the thirteenth of March 2020, when the schools were closed, in the place of Zambujal, a small rural school with only two classes was faced with the difficult task of continuing to ensure the learning of its students belonging to poor families without technological means. In this exploratory study, we intend to verify the difficulties experienced by the teacher in charge of the class and by the students in adapting to remote teaching, through the teacher's report and try to understand how it affected the students' grades. It was not possible to draw conclusions regarding the assessments, due to a change in the evaluation criteria, but the teacher noted greater autonomy in the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and greater motivation. for classroom teaching.
