This communication entitled “Contribution of ICT in the improvement of the Teaching and Learning Process (PEA) in a Secondary School in Nampula”, has the general objective of understanding the Contribution of ICT in improving the PEA; constituting specific objectives: to characterize the PEA through the use of ICT; describe the perception of students and teachers about the contribution of ICT in the PEA; and, analyze the contribution of ICT to the improvement of the PEA in the school under study. This is a qualitative study, as it intended to understand the contribution of ICT in improving the PEA. To this end, we used semi-structured interview and observation techniques, with the participation of 6 students, 2 ICT teachers, 2 different subjects. And we also used the literature review. From the results obtained, it was found that the use of ICT in the PEA is a reality at the school under study and has helped to improve the PEA, since students use them in their academic research, thus acquiring various knowledge on different topics. on the basis of the internet. The great difficulty is the fact that the means are scarce and their cost is high, making ownership difficult for the majority. On the other hand, it was highlighted that teachers, parents and/or guardians have a preponderant role in monitoring students regarding the use of ICTs, since they not only build, but also destroy when misused.
