Organizations are subject to great pressures to ensure their sustainability and competitiveness. Idiosyncratic Deals (I-deals) are personalized employment conditions between individual employees and employers and constitute a tool to achieve the success of the organization. This study aimed to assess the level of negotiation of I-deals between a private hospital and its health professionals, considering differences in age, academic qualifications, seniority, professional category, and contractual status. A correlational quantitative methodology was followed with data collected through a survey in November 2020, in which 66 responses were obtained from operational assistants, nurses, and doctors. The results reveal that there is a high level of negotiation of the I-deals “Tasks and responsibilities at work” and “Flexibility of hours” and a low level of negotiation of the I-deals “Flexibility of location” and “Financial incentives”. The results also suggest that doctors and professionals with greater seniority in the organization can negotiate higher level of I-deals. It was not possible to establish a statistically significant correlation with the remaining socio-demographic variables.
