Wound care requires management of various information, possibly for a long time. Limitations of human mind to deal with much information quickly become evident. So, information technologies are used to assist. This work reports a qualitative research regarding the expectations of nursing professionals about software use in support of wound care. An online questionnaire collected 380 responses to one open question, between January and February 2020. Discourse analysis identified 13 functional requirements and 10 non-functional requirements that software should have to adequately support wound care.
