Introduction: Pressure ulcers (PUs) are an increasingly present problem in health institutions, being indicators of the quality of care provided. People with category I PU are at risk of progressing to category II PU or higher, with the elderly being the most vulnerable. Thus, it is essential to standardize care that enhances health gains. Objective: To map the interventions implemented for elderly people with category I PU in hospital contexts. Methods: A Scoping Review was conducted, including databases such as PUBMED and grey literature, in accordance with JBI´s recommendations. The studies selected are presented through the flowchart according to PRISMA-ScR. The data were extracted into a chart and the information was evaluated and interpreted according to the objective of the study. Results: Of the 3809 articles identified, 5 articles were included and was mentioned electrical stimulation, the use of hydrocolloid dressings, ozone therapy and the use of dynamic surfaces as interventions that enhance the healing of pressure ulcers. Conclusion: The evidence gathered is not sufficient to standardize care implementation, so the development of level I studies in this area is recommended.
