Encapsulating peritoneal sclerosis is a rare and important complication of peritoneal dialysis. It is characterized by diffuse peritoneal fibrous thickening, leading to intestinal encapsulation, which may result in intestinal obstruction. The diagnosis of this condition is clinical and can be confirmed radiologically. Computed tomography is the best imaging method for the diagnosis of this entity. We present a case of a patient diagnosed with encapsulating peritoneal sclerosis that occurred after discontinuation of peritoneal dialysis and presented characteristic computed tomography findings of this disease.
