Brucellosis, a disease caused by bacteria of the genus Brucella, presents a variety of symptoms in humans, making the diagnosis challenging, especially with atypical manifestations. This article reports on the rare case of a patient with brucellosis who developed spondylodiscitis and aortic aneurysm, an unusual and potentially fatal combination in Brucella infection. The case highlights the importance of investigating brucellosis in patients with prolonged spondylodiscitis who do not respond to conventional antibiotic treatments. It emphasizes the need for a comprehensive epidemiological analysis and specific serological tests to accurately diagnose the underlying cause. Early suspicion, based on a detailed clinical history and careful diagnosis, along with advancements in aortic and lumbar spine imaging techniques, is crucial for effective therapeutic planning.
