Abstract

This article presents qualitative research results based on the Fourth Generation Evaluation method, based on the constructivist and responsive paradigm on Sustainable Food and Nutritional Security (SANS). The research, which brings a sociological perspective to the theme, evaluates the conception and application of sans, based on the demands, concerns, and questions presented by the groups involved in the implementation of the city politics as an empirical cut. The study focuses on the Integrated Policy on Sustainable Food and Nutrition Security, implemented in Brazil by the government of the State of Minas Gerais, through the Structuring Program: Cultivar, Nutrir, Educar (PECNE).
