Abstract

This article aims to provide a bibliographic mapping of the main approaches to fascism in contemporary social sciences. As a methodology, we used bibliometric analysis on the theme “fascism” in the recent scientific production of social sciences. We collected texts from the Scopus journal database, totalling 1,971 articles for the period 2006-2021, involving 158 authors. The articles were examined through a bibliometric analysis (co-occurrence of words and bibliographic coupling). As main results, in addition to mapping the literature with the greatest impact on the subject, we found five research agendas on the contemporary frontier of investigation.
