The political parties are an important part of the current democratic systems, having a role of structured representation, as far as the proposal of programmatic and political alternatives are concerned. But the complexity of modern societies, producing intermediate structures of rationalization and also to the unclosing of the societies, much beyond the limited areas of the frontiers of sovereignty, points to a significant changing in the characterization and in the accomplishment of the parties' roles. This article aims to clarify some of the consequences of that changing, also considering the effects that occur due to its delay and to the opposition of interests and traditional concepts.
