The financing of experimental research and development activities (R&D) at medium term

Abstract

In this article, after a comparative analysis grounded in the R&D expenditure in several industrialized or developing countries, the author presents a global financing scheme that seems to be possible and desirable according to the development stage in our country. The use of such scheme corresponds to a growing expenditure level in R&D, up to 0,5% of the GNP in 1987, 40% of that tote belonging to the enterprise sector.
