Anaesthesiology Simulation patient safetyAbstract
The author presents her perspective on the close relationship between Anesthesiology and Simulation, invoking from ahistorical perspective the leading role of Anesthesiology in patient safety and in changing the paradigm of teaching and
training in Anesthesiology and medicine. It also presents a brief description of the pedagogical approach that simulation allows.
