What ethical principles should guide research with and about adolescents? How to involve young people in the design and planning of projects that concern them? How to include children in the process of evaluating policies, programmes and projects? What methods and techniques should be used in information gathering processes when minors are concerned? What are the practical and methodological difficulties associated with interventions in the areas of childhood and youth? This dossier intends to be a first tryout in this field that is still faintly explored, offering a set of reflections, indications and resources - necessarily partial and provisional - for researchers and professionals with direct or indirect interests in this area.
