Evolução do(s) Conceito(s) de Desenvolvimento. Um Roteiro Crítico

Este artigo visa, de forma exploratória, apresentar algumas das questões centrais na evolução do conceito de desenvolvimento. Sem a pretensão de ser uma recensão exaustiva dos principais teorizadores da problemática, procura antes apontar alguns dos principais percursos do conceito ao longo das últimas décadas. Mais especificamente, procura-se distinguir as fases e modelos de desenvolvimento mais disseminados, com especial enfoque na evolução do pensamento desenvolvimentista mainstream e dos desenvolvimentos “alternativos”, que começaram a surgir a partir da década de 1980. Debatem-se ainda algumas das características do desenvolvimento sustentável, assim como os contributos das teorias do pós-desenvolvimento, que se afirmam como uma alternativa ao conceito de desenvolvimento.References
