Políticas de Adaptação às Mudanças Climáticas e a Produção Transescalar da Sujeição Social na Guiné-Bissau

Através de uma perspectiva sociológica, esse artigo focaliza as interações do Estado guineense em três níveis de relações de poder. O primeiro deles focaliza a posição do Estado nacional frente às forças multilaterais nos temas ambientais. O segundo analisa padrões de interação entre o Estado nacional, as ONGs e demais parceiros em políticas socioambientais. O terceiro é o nível local no qual circunstâncias ambientais deterioradas, relacionadas a inundações, geram um sofrimento coletivo. O estudo conclui que os laços intracomunitários criam estratégias de apoio mútuo, porém, o modo de gestão institucional das catástrofes continua a expressar o Estado suave na Guiné-Bissau.
