Mark Brayne é o director europeu do Dart Centre for Journalism and Trauma e foi durante trinta anos correspondente no estrangeiro e editor principal da Agência Reuter e da BBC World Service, trabalhando em Moscovo, Berlim Oriental e Ocidental, Viena, Pequim e Londres. Nos anos 90, formou-se como psicoterapeuta, e é agora formador e conselheiro no campo do jornalismo e trauma. Neste seu texto, aborda a importáncia de uma formaçao especifca adequada e de apoio psicosocial aos jornalistas que cobrem eventos traumáticos, nomeadamente em contextos culturais que lhes são estranhos.References
