Os partidos políticos africanos no virar do milénio: um ensaio preliminar

O presente artigo não tem a pretensão de se substantivar num estudo sócio-antropológico sobre os partidos políticos africanos; procura, alternativamente apresentar-se como uma proposta de «estado da arte» e de análise crítica do que empiricamente é possível constatar na realidade, recorrendo para tal, a um enfoque disciplinar heterodoxo, centrado todavia, na Sociologia, na Ciência Política e na Antropologia. Esta opção prende-se essencialmente com uma questão metodológica, pois para além da informação recolhida ter como origem autores diversos (verdadeiros intermediários de conhecimento e saber) e, apesar de um esforço de delimitação do objecto real, o estudo que aqui se apresenta, abrange o sub-continente subsaariano e um período que compreende todo o século XX (período de colonização efectiva e pós-colonização/independências), o que implicou a construção de uma cartografia epistémica de escala elevada, ilustrada sempre que possível, por imagens de pormenor, localizadas e concretas.References
