Jeovah’s witnesses and discrimination in access to blood-free treatments

This paper deals with the refusal of blood transfusions and the right to an alternative treatment free of blood by the Jehovah’s Witnesses. As religion present worldwide, Jehovah’s Witnesses are faced daily with the struggle, for religious reasons, of not wanting to have blood transfusions, without often the medical community understand and access the application. The aim is to rely on this controversial issue, on behalf of religious freedom and the principle of human dignity.
